Edge Theory Labs was a real company that sold the Edge Tub, an inflatable cold plunge with a chiller. It went out of business around November 2024, and its own website now says so. Its warranties, including paid three-year plans, can no longer be claimed through the company. If you see an Edge Tub for sale today, it is used or leftover stock with no manufacturer support.

I’m not issuing a verdict here. Below is the public record, checked against our Pre-Purchase Scam Checklist, so you can decide for yourself.

What owners reported before and after the shutdown

A note on “Edge Pro”

Some resale and aggregator listings use the name “Edge Pro.” Two independent buying-guide sites say no product by that name was ever sold. The real lineup was the Edge Tub Elite and the Edge Tub Legacy.

If you already own one

  1. Contact the third-party plan administrator directly if you bought an extended plan. Ask in writing whether any coverage survives.
  2. Look into third-party repair services, or a replacement chiller compatible with the tub’s ports.
  3. If you bought within your card’s dispute window, ask your card issuer about a dispute for non-performance of the warranty.

If you’re buying used

Assume there is no warranty, and price the purchase as a tub plus a chiller you may need to replace.
