Before you pay for a cold plunge, check the company behind it. We pulled the public record on 14 cold plunge brands: BBB ratings, complaint response rates, warranty terms, and whether the company is still in business. Two of the 14 are no longer operating. Two answered fewer than 1 in 20 BBB complaints. The rest are listed below with what to check before you buy.

We don’t call any brand a scam. Each guide shows the public record and where it came from, so you can decide for yourself.

Brands are grouped by how much public evidence supports buying with confidence, not ranked by product quality. A brand with no BBB profile isn’t a bad sign by itself. It just means there is less public record to check.

Three things that matter most

  1. Is the company still operating? A warranty is only as good as the company behind it.
  2. Does it answer complaints? Complaint count grows with sales. The share left unanswered tells you more.
  3. What does the warranty actually cover after day 90? Shipping fees, labor, and “unused condition” return rules are where costs show up.

Don’t see your brand?

Run the Pre-Purchase Scam Checklist yourself. It works on any seller.

Method: BBB, Trustpilot, domain registration (DataforSEO WHOIS), company registries, warranty pages, and owner reports. All data pulled October 13, 2026. Each brand guide lists its own sources. We update these guides when the record changes.
