These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at www.contrastmap.com (the "Site"), operated by ContrastMap ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You use the Site at your own risk. We make no guarantees that the Site will be available without interruption, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we may change or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

2. Informational purpose — not medical advice

ContrastMap is a directory and informational resource. Studio listings, descriptions, reviews, and any editorial content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Cold plunge, sauna, and other heat- or cold-based therapies carry risks, particularly for people with certain medical conditions (including heart conditions, pregnancy, and others). Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any heat or cold therapy. If you experience dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptom, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

3. Studio listings

• Listings are compiled from publicly available information and studio submissions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing, including hours, pricing, amenities, or services.
• Listings are informational references, not endorsements. We do not own or operate the studios listed.
• Any booking, purchase, or membership you enter into is between you and the studio directly. We are not a party to those transactions and are not responsible for them.

4. User-submitted content

If you submit content to the Site — including reviews, ratings, "Get a quote" requests, newsletter signups, or contact messages — you agree that:

• You will not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, false or misleading, or that infringes the rights of any third party.
• You will not submit spam, malware, or content intended to manipulate or deceive.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with operating the Site.
• We may remove or refuse any content at our sole discretion, without notice.

5. Intellectual property

The ContrastMap name, logo, and the Site's original design, editorial content, and underlying code are the property of ContrastMap and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute the Site's original content (including journal articles and data assets) without our prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable law or expressly stated on a given page.

All third-party trademarks, product names, and logos referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners.

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including studio websites and product listings in the Shop section. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third-party sites.

Some links in the Shop section are affiliate links. If you purchase through those links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This does not affect our editorial independence.
